About Us

Jeffrey D. Clark

Mr. Clark is the managing member of Praesideo Management, LLC (“Praesideo”) an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. Praesideo Management, LLC is the general partner of three funds of hedge funds including; Praesideo Equity Partners, Praesideo International Investors, and the Praesideo Premier Fund. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of J.D. Clark & Company a division of UMB Fund Services which offers investment accounting, consulting, and administrative services for the fund of funds and hedge fund industry since 1991. Mr. Clark was the Chief Financial Officer and a founder of Genesee Partners and the Genesee Group, a multi-manager, multi-strategy fund of funds group, from its inception in August of 1986 through August 1990. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Finance for an investment partnership specializing in risk arbitrage. He is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for KPMG from 1982 to 1984. He holds a BA in accounting and business from Utah State University in Logan, Utah.

Michael S. Loughton

Mr. Loughton is a Partner with Praesideo Management, LLC. Mr. Loughton has been responsible for sourcing, evaluating and recommending hedge fund investments for the Praesideo funds since 2000.

Mr. Loughton began his career with IBM Corporation. He holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from Utah State University and was the recipient of the Hewlett Packard/John Young Assistantship.

Trevor W. Welch

Mr. Welch is a Partner with Praesideo Management, LLC. His primary responsibilities are for sourcing, evaluating and recommending investments for the Praesideo funds.

Mr. Welch joins us from Goldman, Sachs & Co where most recently he was the Team Manager responsible for Private Banking client relationships in all eastern U.S. Private Wealth Management offices. He began his career with Goldman as an Operational Consultant for the AYCO & Co acquisition. He later became an Analyst for Financial/Risk Metrics and Restricted Stock in Goldman’s PWM Operations. Trevor was responsible for multiple successful firm-wide projects while at Goldman Sachs. He currently serves on the board of an outdoor recreation firm.

Trevor holds a BS in Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University where he received dual awards for distinguished service and contributions to the Business School.
